Last night when I came home from class I heard that squawking bird outside my window... you know, the bird that flew into my head on Saturday (and caused my head to itch ever since!!) well, the stupid thing was yakking at the big fluffy black and white cat that wanders through my backyard on a fairly regular basis. This is a fat cat and I have never seen it move fast, but come on bird... that cat could eat you! The cat was just sitting on the edge of the patio looking out over the backyard, just like it owned the place. It is quite funny!
From the monthly dishcloth knit-a-long, the October design was a simple cat. This could be a Halloween cat, but I did not have any orange or black at the time I started this one. Although both sides are photoed here, it is hard to make out. This is somewhat of a problem with the picture cloths... I actually worked this one on the days the lines came up and finished on time... it was just the photoing that took me awhile. A smaller cloth than others, done on #7 needles sugar and cream in potpourri ombre, a mostly cream with splotches of blue, pink and purple. I'll make more of these since it was really easy and worked up fast. Dishcloths are fun, easy projects.
